Hi! I hope you had a great Christmas celebration with your family.
I am in India right now for the holidays, it is actually my first time celebrating Christmas away from my family in the Philippines.
Well, Christmas is not that widely observed here, being a non- Christian country, but my family tried their level best to make me feel like I am just home!

I had a bloggers block recently, I intend to write one post in my blog everyday at least for this month that I am on a vacation, but I just can’t think of anything to write about. I was so lazy to cook and take pictures too. So what happens when I am bored and have absolutely have nothing to blog about? My blog logo changes! Crazy, but I just find myself tinkering with my blog theme again. When inspiration comes to me, I wake up, hit the ground running, and never stop writing on my blog until I sleep again. But this week was a downtime for me. So I decided to create an easy recipe to share with you.

chocolate apple milkshake

I prepared a smoothie..a milkshake my son really likes. I made a chocolate apple milkshake. It sounds like an odd combo, does it? But believe me, it is quite delicious and you will love it!

My son hates apples and the only way I can make him eat apple is make a smoothie out of it. He is crazy about chocolate, so I thought, why not mix chocolate in his apple shake? Try this chocolate apple milkshake combination and you will adore it.

Recipe type: Drinks
Serves: 3

Ingredients
  • 2 pieces of medium sized apple
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 pieces chocolate cookies ( I used Oreo, with chocolate filling)
  • 3 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon powder

Instructions
  1. Peel the apple, take out the seeds and cut into small pieces
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a blender and mix until the drink has a smooth consistency
  3. Serve and garnish with Oreo or chocolate bits and apple slices

Notes
You can opt for chocolate pieces or chocolate powdered drink, whatever is available in your kitchen at the moment. I used Oreo because my son has a lot of unopened Oreo packs in the pantry, and I love Oreo!

Until next time my friends! Try making this chocolate apple milkshake and tell me how yours turned up!
